3 days left... oh my

Well, I am trying to get a bunch of new pieces together for this week-ends Craft Fair at Sullivan Hall, honestly, I really am! Life just keeps interrupting me! Here is the newest piece I have made. ENJOY!!

Here's the 1st of the new holiday designs. I love the new Subway art that is out there so I decided to make a Holiday inspired subway shelf block. This awesome chunky wood sign looks great on my ladder shelf I think ... hmmm, maybe I shall keep it.... lol.

I *heart* working on custom signs...

I remember not too long ago when 60 was *old*..really old, I also remember that I used to think 30 was old and life was over by then... what was I thinking??! Lol
Well, I've since come to my senses and realized just how *young* 60 is and what an exciting time of your life it is I mean really, retirement is just around the corner! When one of my friends asked me to make something for her Dad who's turning 60 and had just got himself a new Mountain Bike I was excited! I love working on new things and had once seen a framed piece with a quote that was just the perfect thing for this "Old" Mans Birthday prezzie....

what do you think?! I like it, I LOVE the colour too :)

Someone's in the kitchen with Alina...

isn't this just the cutest sign for a Little Girls kitchen area??! I *heart* it lots. One of the mommies in my VBFF's group need something to cover up one of those really weirdly placed plug outlets above her Little Girls (Really awesome) kitchen area (see photo)

I think my sign will do just the trick!

I'm signing up for lots of Fall craft fairs this year so I need to get my mind wrapped around starting my Christmas (shhhhh, I know) stuff again.... not easy to do when it is not even summer...ugh.

Working Away

Well, the 1st of many craft sales are approaching very quickly so I thought I'd better get working on some things. This sign makes a great addition to a bookcase or mantel.

Seeing as the whole city is on the Canuck High, I decided my house needed a little Canuck something so I came up with this little plaque to put on my ladder shelf. Go Canucks GO!!

Last but not lease I had a GREAT craft night with my VBFF the other night. I was finishing a custom order sign for someone while she made this really cute name stacker set for her little Guy's rooms. It turned out really sweet..  would make a really great Shower gift don't you think?!

Well best be getting back to work!

Most times when I'm making something, I'm usually thinking about who would just love that particular project; well it's sure the case for this last sign I made!!
This particular friend of mine was on my mind the WHOLE time, you know exactly who you are!! I wish you were closer so we could have craft times together, or more shopping days too... I like those days just as much :)

But for now, the sign is sitting pretty on the hearth and every time I glance it's way...poof, you pop into my mind again! Lucky Me!

New Idea!

Well, Ok, maybe it's not so new, new... but NEW for me!!
I have discovered a new product and I can't wait to try it out! Just need to get my hands on some and away I go. I'll be able to make nice personalized labels for water bottles like this...

and also make a patterned Vinyl to use on my signs... oh this has opened my doors!! Can't wait to try..

Getting Ready for Summer!

Well, I've gotta do something to get me in the Summer spirit because this crappy Vancouver weather we've been having sucks, royally! why not craft??!

Here is a cute shelf block set to decorate any table or shelf set you have. Remember, these can all be customized to your colour preference or even words...if you don't love Watermelon (seriously?) it could be Strawberries or whichever fruit or Summer Fave you have. Just ask!
